Ashley’s Birthday
Category: Food, Special OccasionsAshley loves seafood, especially oysters and shrimp. So for her birthday, I took her along with Emery to “Fish” a great but reasonable seafood and raw bar in the West Village. I excused myself from work early so we could avoid the crowds and we took a little family trip. The restaurant was great, awesome [...]

Del Frisco - February 2010
Category: FoodNumerous people have told us about Del Frisco and that it has one of the best steaks in the city. We live right up street from it and have passed it countless times over the past year. We finally decided to see what the hype was all about….
We got some crab cakes and shrimp cocktail [...]

We wanted to do a little traveling before our little one arrives. Although it’s still months and months away, it feels like time in closing up on us for the next… 18 years, at least! [...]

We established a little tradition that on our anniversary, we would watch the sunrise, get some coffee and and just savor the moment. This year, we went [...]

Food Glorious Food!
Category: Food, Fun TimesI doubt anyone knows it but the title of this post comes from “Oliver!”, the movie musical adaptation of Oliver Twist filmed in 1968, directed by Carol Reed. The move opens with the orphans singing this catchy tune. Anyways, enough about that… I have been getting more and more into photography. Food photography is especially [...]
